From a Dream to Patagonia: The Story Behind Wildfly Patagonia
There comes a moment in life when you stop and ask yourself what kind of future you truly want.
After spending several years living in the United States, building our careers and raising our family, we felt it was time to return to our roots and create a project that reflected what we are most passionate about.
We are Chileans, and we have always been deeply proud of our country, its breathtaking landscapes, and the incredible diversity of nature it offers. Among all those places, one captured our hearts more than any other: Patagonia.
Wildfly Patagonia was born from our desire to build a life that is more connected to nature while sharing the beauty of this extraordinary corner of Chile with travelers from around the world.
During our years in the United States, we had the opportunity to visit many of its national parks and experience destinations where tourism and nature exist in harmony. Those experiences inspired us and sparked the dream of creating something similar in our own country—an authentic and welcoming place where respect for nature is at the heart of everything we do.
We chose to build Wildfly Patagonia along the Emperador Guillermo River because it represents everything we hope to share: peaceful surroundings, breathtaking scenery, world-class fly fishing, and a genuine connection with the natural world.
But Wildfly Patagonia is about much more than a place to stay.
We want our guests to discover Patagonia at a slower pace—to experience its wildlife, native forests, rivers, local culture, and the warmth of its people. We want to share the Chile we love and help every visitor leave with not only unforgettable memories, but also a deeper appreciation for this remarkable place.
Our values are simple, yet they guide every decision we make: respecting nature, protecting wildlife, valuing people, and promoting responsible tourism that helps preserve Patagonia for future generations.
This journal was created with that same purpose.
