At WILDFLY PATAGONIA, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and nature-focused experience.

These Guest Policies reflect our commitment to preserving Patagonia while ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest.

1. Booking Requests & Experiences

All experiences, programs, and accommodations offered by WILDFLY PATAGONIA are subject to availability and prior coordination.

Submitting a booking request or contact form does not constitute a confirmed reservation.

Each request is personally reviewed by our team, taking into consideration:

  • Requested travel dates.
  • Availability.
  • Number of guests.
  • Type of experience.
  • Specific guest requirements.

A reservation is confirmed only after written confirmation has been issued by WILDFLY PATAGONIA.

2. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: From 3:00 PM

Check-out: Until 11:00 AM

Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance with our team.

If availability does not permit, WILDFLY PATAGONIA cannot guarantee these services.

3. Reservations, Deposits & Cancellation Policy

To secure availability and begin planning each personalized experience, all reservations require an initial deposit. The deposit amount will be provided during the booking confirmation process.

Reservations are considered confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival are eligible for a refund of the deposit, less any applicable administrative or banking fees.
  • Cancellations made 30–59 days before arrival will forfeit the deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival may be subject to the full reservation charge unless WILDFLY PATAGONIA is able to rebook the reserved dates.

No Show

Failure to arrive on the scheduled date (“No Show”) will result in the loss of the deposit and any other payments made, with no refund.

Date Changes

Requests to reschedule are reviewed individually and remain subject to availability.

WILDFLY PATAGONIA will make every reasonable effort to offer alternative dates but cannot guarantee availability.

Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure—including natural disasters, wildfires, government restrictions, road closures, public health emergencies, or other events beyond the reasonable control of either party—WILDFLY PATAGONIA will evaluate each situation individually and, whenever possible, offer alternatives such as rescheduling the experience.

Because every experience is carefully planned and reserved exclusively for our guests, these cancellation policies are intended to balance traveler flexibility with the planning and operational costs associated with each program.

4. Weather & Safety Conditions

Our experiences take place in a natural environment where weather conditions, river levels, road conditions, and other environmental factors may change unexpectedly.

To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, WILDFLY PATAGONIA reserves the right to modify, reschedule, replace, or cancel activities whenever weather, safety considerations, or force majeure make it necessary.

Whenever possible, suitable alternatives will be offered.

Guest safety will always take priority over the original itinerary.

5. Guest Responsibility & Safety

Guests are required to follow all instructions provided by our guides and staff at all times.

Each guest is responsible for informing us in advance of any medical condition, physical limitation, allergy, or other circumstance that could affect their participation or safety.

WILDFLY PATAGONIA reserves the right to restrict participation in any activity when it believes a guest’s condition may present a safety risk to themselves, other participants, or staff.

The consumption of alcohol or any substance that may impair judgment or physical ability may also result in restricted participation in outdoor activities.

6. Assumption of Risk (Waiver)

Before participating in any outdoor activities organized by WILDFLY PATAGONIA, all participants must complete and sign a Liability Waiver acknowledging the inherent risks associated with activities in natural environments and agreeing to follow all instructions provided by our guides and staff.

7. Fishing Licenses & Permits

Sport fishing activities are subject to the laws and regulations of the Republic of Chile.

Each guest is responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, or authorizations required by the relevant authorities.

Whenever possible, WILDFLY PATAGONIA may assist guests with information regarding the licensing process but assumes no responsibility for the issuance, validity, or approval of such permits.

8. Conservation & Catch & Release

Conservation is a fundamental part of WILDFLY PATAGONIA’s philosophy.

We promote responsible fly fishing based on Catch & Release principles, encouraging proper fish handling techniques that minimize stress and support long-term conservation.

Our guides may provide additional recommendations regarding responsible fish handling.

9. Respect for Wildlife

Patagonia is home to a remarkable diversity of native wildlife.

We ask all guests to respect road signage, speed limits, and always drive responsibly to help protect local wildlife.

Responsible driving is essential for the safety of both visitors and the animals that inhabit Patagonia.

Feeding, chasing, or interfering with wildlife is strictly prohibited.

10. Drone Policy

Recreational drone use is permitted at WILDFLY PATAGONIA provided it is conducted responsibly and with respect for the privacy of other guests.

However, drones may be prohibited within protected areas, national parks, or other locations under applicable regulations.

Drone owners are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and obtaining any required permits.

WILDFLY PATAGONIA assumes no responsibility for legal restrictions, fines, or penalties related to drone use.

11. Our Commitment to Patagonia

Leave No Trace Principles

At WILDFLY PATAGONIA, we believe the best way to enjoy nature is to leave it just as beautiful for those who visit after us.

We encourage every guest to follow the Leave No Trace principles and actively contribute to protecting this extraordinary environment.

During your stay, we kindly ask that you:

  • Dispose of all waste in designated bins.
  • Never leave trash or personal items in rivers, lakes, trails, or natural areas.
  • Respect wildlife, vegetation, and landscapes.
  • Stay on designated trails and authorized access routes whenever applicable.
  • Use water and energy responsibly.
  • Help preserve Patagonia through responsible actions during your visit.

Every small action contributes to protecting this remarkable place for future generations.

12. Photography & Media

During your stay, WILDFLY PATAGONIA may capture photographs and video footage for promotional, editorial, advertising, and marketing purposes.

Unless a guest expressly objects in writing before the beginning of their stay, WILDFLY PATAGONIA may use such material on its website, social media channels, advertising campaigns, printed materials, and other brand-related media.

13. Pet-Friendly Policy

Pets are welcome exclusively in our cabins.

Pets are not permitted inside the main lodge or other shared indoor areas unless expressly authorized by WILDFLY PATAGONIA.

A maximum of two dogs per cabin is permitted.

Pets must be fully vaccinated and remain under the constant supervision of their owners.

Owners are responsible for:

  • Keeping pets on a leash in all common areas.
  • Cleaning up after their pets.
  • Preventing excessive noise or disruptive behavior.
  • Assuming responsibility for any damage caused to facilities, staff, or other guests.

For safety and animal welfare reasons, pets are not permitted to participate in fly fishing trips, excursions, or other outdoor experiences unless expressly authorized.

Any injury or damage caused by a pet is the sole responsibility of its owner.

An additional cleaning fee may apply and will be communicated during the reservation process.

WILDFLY PATAGONIA reserves the right to refuse entry to any pet that may pose a risk to guests, staff, or local wildlife.

14. Code of Conduct

We strive to provide an atmosphere of respect, tranquility, and connection with nature.

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow visitors, staff, local communities, and the natural environment.

Aggressive, discriminatory, violent, or disruptive behavior that affects the safety or enjoyment of others will not be tolerated.

WILDFLY PATAGONIA reserves the right to restrict participation in activities or terminate a guest’s stay if their behavior presents a risk to others, our staff, or the proper operation of the property, without entitlement to any refund.

15. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings throughout their stay.

This includes, but is not limited to, fishing equipment, cameras, drones, mobile phones, computers, jewelry, cash, and other valuables.

WILDFLY PATAGONIA is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where required by applicable law.

16. Lost Property

Items found on the property will be kept for up to 90 days from the date they are found.

If the owner requests their return, all packaging and shipping costs will be their responsibility.

After 90 days, unclaimed items may be disposed of at WILDFLY PATAGONIA’s discretion.

17. Property Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage caused, whether through action or negligence, to buildings, furnishings, equipment, or any property belonging to WILDFLY PATAGONIA.

In such cases, WILDFLY PATAGONIA may seek reimbursement for repair or replacement costs, without prejudice to any legal remedies available.

We kindly ask every guest to treat our property with the same care and respect they would their own home.

18. Minors

Guests under 18 years of age must remain under the supervision and responsibility of an accompanying adult at all times during their stay and while participating in any activities organized by WILDFLY PATAGONIA.

Participation of minors in outdoor activities is subject to evaluation by our team, the safety conditions of each experience, and any applicable age restrictions.

WILDFLY PATAGONIA reserves the right to limit or deny participation whenever an activity may present a risk to a minor’s safety or well-being.
